Day 1 : Arrive in Los Angeles
Welcome to Los Angeles, the beating heart of the American movie industry and the City of Angels. An organised transfer will pick you up from the airport and take you the short distance to Long Beach. Check-in to the hotel and relax before meeting with your Travel Director and fellow guests at 6pm for a Welcome Reception.

Day 2 : Los Angeles - San Diego Sightseeing
Journey south along the Pacific Ocean towards San Diego. Enjoy some free time to explore the area before joining with your fellow travellers for dinner.

Day 3 : San Diego - Scottsdale
Experience a journey through the colossal Sonoran Desert and open a window to a world of fascinating wildlife and incredible scenery. Enjoy an afternoon in the desert playground of Scottsdale before exploring the area at your own leisure in the evening.

Day 4 : Scottsdale - Sedona - Grand Canyon National Park
Head north through the scented pine groves of the Coconino National Forest before reaching the lovely town of Sedona. See the towering red cliffs and crystal pools of Oak Creek Canyon, then arrive at the mighty Grand Canyon in the afternoon. Witness the outstanding views of this natural wonder from the South Rim and learn all about the Grand Canyon’s incredible geology from a local guide.

Day 5 : Grand Canyon - Las Vegas
Leave the Grand Canyon behind and head towards the dazzling lights of Las Vegas. Arrive at your hotel, located in the centre of the famous Strip, and familiarise yourself with Vegas’ iconic attractions. Las Vegas is renowned for its indulgent, high-end buffets and you can experience one for yourself in the evening with your fellow travellers.

Day 6 : Las Vegas Free Time
There’s so much to do in Las Vegas you’ll be grateful for the free time! The choices are endless. You can try your luck at one of the various casinos, see the famous Bellagio Fountains or see the city from the dizzying heights of the Stratosphere Tower. Take an optional trip to the Hoover Dam if you’re feeling adventurous, or simply lounge by the hotel pool and enjoy a relaxing massage for some rejuvenation.

Day 7 : Las Vegas - Mammoth Lakes
Say goodbye to Las Vegas and journey through the wilderness of the Mojave Desert. Arrive at the glorious Mammoth Lakes and enjoy an evening to do whatever you want. Day 8 : Mammoth Lakes - Yosemite National Park
Enjoy an adventurous start to your day as you descend from the Sierra Nevada Mountains through the incredible Tioga Pass into the Yosemite Valley. Witness the misty scenes of Bridalveil and Yosemite Falls and see the jaw-dropping sights of El Capitan and Half Dome. Spend the afternoon soaking up Yosemite’s natural splendour and stay overnight right in the heart of the park.
Travel north to Sonoma and visit a family-owned winery for an exclusive tour and wine tasting. Day 10 : San Francisco Sightseeing and Free Time
As the mist dissolves, sensational San Francisco appears. Start your morning with a journey from Fisherman’s Wharf to the Golden Gate Park and explore some of the city’s best loved sights along the way. Enjoy a visit to the Cable Car Museum and learn about San Francisco’s rail transit history. In the afternoon you are free to embark on your own journey, dine at some amazing restaurants and explore every corner of “The City by the Bay”.

Day 11 : San Francisco - Carmel - Monterey
Spend a relaxing morning in San Francisco before heading to beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. Carmel is rated a top 10 destination in the United States year after year and everything in this city is within walking distance making it the perfect place to explore. Browse the city’s charming shops and spend time on the beach before heading to Monterey.
After a trip down Monterey’s beautiful 17-Mile Drive past the famed Lone Cypress Tree and exclusive Pebble Beach Golf Links, enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city’s historic waterfront district and renowned Cannery Row.
The next day of your adventure will see you travel south on your way to Hearst Castle, which was once home to one of America’s most powerful men. Take a guided tour of his luxurious residence and then continue on towards beautiful Santa Barbara. In the evening, toast your holiday with newfound friends at a Be My Guest Farewell Dinner and a California wine pairing. Your host for the evening (a local chef and author) will prepare a delicious seasonal dish for the ultimate farm-to-table experience.

Wake to the blissful golden beaches and sophisticated Spanish Revival buildings of Santa Barbara.
