Located at the end of famous Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is one of the most popular attractions along California’s Pacific Coast. Home to around 35,000 creatures and over 550 different marine species, experience the life of Monterey Bay on a truly grand scale and without getting wet!
With over 45 interactive exhibits and colourful displays to discover, there’s plenty of entertainment for both adults and children. Be sure to check out the Kelp Forest, Splash Zone and the Open Sea Gallery which features sea turtles, stingrays, sharks, jellyfish and large schools of fish all coexisting in one huge exhibit – this one’s a real hit with visitors. Interactive exhibits include hands-on encounters with reptiles, octopi, birds and invertebrates, and guests can even feed some of their favourite sea creatures through a variety of tours. Other tours include behind-the-scenes experiences, daily live shows, feedings and a number of special seasonal events throughout the year.
