Day 1 - 3 : San Francisco
What better way to start your Northern California adventure than a stop in unforgettable San Francisco. The original birthplace of the hippy movement, this colourful city is artistic, tolerant and incredibly welcoming. Spend a few days exploring the countless attractions before picking up your RV and hitting the road.

Day 3 - 4 : Sonoma County
Welcome to the land of world-class wines and agricultural abundance, Sonoma County is the next stop of your Golden State tour. Just an hour north of San Fran’s Golden Gate Bridge, Sonoma is home to more than 300 wineries, a huge selection of excellent farm-to-table restaurants and a whole host of art galleries, shops and spas.

Day 4 - 5 : Mendocino County
Take in the sights of Sonoma’s beautiful rolling hills and rich emerald landscapes as you head north on Highway 101 towards Mendocino County. The scenery along this part of the route is simply spectacular and you’ll find plenty of national parks and viewpoints along the way, all of which are worthy of a stop.

Day 5 - 6 : Eureka
This part of your journey takes in a section of California’s legendary Pacific Coast, Highway 1. Towered by 300 foot tall Redwood trees, drive up the famous ‘Avenue of Giants’ before arriving in the historic city of Eureka. As you head north of Klamath, be sure to keep an eye out for statues of legendary lumberjack Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe.

Day 6 - 8 : Mount Shasta
From Eureka, head east on Highway 29 along the Trinity River Scenic Byway where you’ll see some of the finest views in Northern California. There are tons of places to hike, bike and swim along this route so you can really make the most of California’s superior outdoor offerings. To capture jaw-dropping views of the second highest peak in the Cascades, Mount Shasta, take a drive along Everitt Memorial Highway.

Don’t forget to explore the McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park where you’ll be transported straight to a tropical island upon sight of the 129 foot cascading waterfall.
