White Tank Mountain Regional Park is just a 20-minute drive from the hotel and offers opportunities to hike, bike and horseback ride the sprawling desert and mountain terrain. If hiking’s your thing you may also like to walk the 4.4 mile Sunrise Trail at McDowell Mountains. To explore Arizona’s nature at a more relaxing pace, head to the Desert Botanical Gardens to explore the beautiful outdoor exhibits. The city’s sports stadiums are also a big deal here, with the University of Phoenix Stadium and Chase Field home to Arizona’s football and baseball teams – and open to the public.
