Rainbow Bridge National Monument
A true example of Nature’s finest work
Rainbow Bridge National Monument is one of the world’s largest known natural bridges and is also the most famous site on Lake Powell. Standing 290 feet tall and spanning 275 feet across Bridge Canyon, Rainbow Bridge was once considered sacred by earlier indigenous people. Rainbow Bridge can only be reached via a two hour boat trip or by hiking across Navajo Tribal land which requires a permit,so go with an organised tour. The boat trips leave from two marinas near Page, Arizona, and is followed by a mile-long walk from the National Park wharf in Bridge Canyon.
